Questions
How do I play?
Swipe anywhere to turn. The marshmallow never stops; eat five cherries to clear a level before the clock runs out. Each cherry buys time back, up to the level’s budget.
Rather tap? Settings › Access › Tap zones: the left half of the screen turns left, the right half turns right. Walls are on to start with, so leaving the board ends the run; switch them off in Settings › Game rules and the edges wrap.
Why did my run end?
One of three things: you hit a wall or your own body (Squashed), the clock reached zero (Out of time), or you touched a scoop (Hit a scoop). The card says which. Tap Replay to watch the last moment again at half speed.
What is today’s special, and when does it change?
One run a day on a fresh floor seeded from the date. Everyone plays it by the same rules — walls on, the clock on, no revive — whatever your own Game rules say. It isn’t the same floor for everyone: where the cherries and scoops land depends on your run and your screen.
It turns over at 00:00 UTC — that’s midnight UTC.
Finish it three days in a row and Sherbet is yours.
How do I get the other flavours?
Every flavour has a free way in that stays yours for good:
- Neapolitan — finish one run.
- Sherbet — finish today’s special three days in a row.
- Midnight — reach level 6.
You can also borrow one for five days with sprinkles, which the jukebox pays out, or unlock all four with Remove Ads.
I bought Remove Ads. How do I get it back?
Settings › Store › Restore, signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you bought it with. The game tells you what it found — “ad-free since” a date — or that nothing was found on that Apple ID. There’s no account to sign in to; the App Store remembers the purchase.
My purchase says it’s pending.
That’s Ask to Buy, or your bank checking. Nothing has been charged yet and nothing has been refused. When it goes through, the game unlocks it by itself — there’s no need to buy it again.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com ↗.
When do ads show, and how do I stop them?
Never during a run, never on a level clear, never when you open the game, and not in your first three runs. After that, every third run starts with an ad on the placemat, which you can flip after five seconds; the jukebox plays one only if you choose it.
The ads are never personalised. Remove Ads — $1.99 US, once — takes them all away. Ad consent, where the law asks for it, is in Settings › Account › Ad privacy.
My score isn’t on the leaderboard.
Check you’re signed in to Game Center in your iPhone’s Settings › Game Center. Scores made while signed out wait on your iPhone and post when you sign in.
Practice runs never post. Endless takes runs with the clock on, walls on and the melt by level 8; a run played easier posts to Your rules instead. Settings › Game rules shows yours. A revived run at those rules posts to the revived board. A waiting daily score only posts on its own day, UTC.
Sound and haptics
Settings › Sound & haptics has the master switch, volume from 1 to 5, the walking tune, and haptics. The game follows your iPhone’s ring/silent switch and plays alongside your music.
Accessibility
Settings › Access has Reduce Motion, the colourblind swap, tap zones and the dark board. The game follows your iPhone’s text size, every control is labelled for VoiceOver, and every button is at least 44 points.
I lost my progress.
Your progress lives on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it; restoring your iPhone from a backup brings it back with everything else. This version doesn’t sync progress between devices. Purchases always come back with Restore.
What does the game collect about me?
Nothing that reaches us. The privacy policy has what Google, RevenueCat and Apple each get.
